Since the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open became a co-sanctioned event between the LPGA and LET Tours ten years ago, the tournament has become a must-play event ahead of the season’s final major - the AIG Women’s Open. Dundonald Links in North Ayrshire will once again host 144 players from both the LPGA and the Ladies European Tour, who will compete for a $2 mil purse. This year, the field features seven of the top 10 players in the Rolex Rankings who are taking the opportunity to tee it up this week in Scotland in what will a tune-up for the test that lies ahead next week at Royal Lytham & St Annes, host of the final major championship of 2026. Here’s a look at the groups to watch this week during the opening rounds of the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open. All tee times are local.

Thursday, 7:41 a.m., 1st tee; Friday, 12:41 p.m., 10th tee - Georgia Hall, Alison Lee, Anne van Dam

A trio of new moms will have plenty to discuss as they tee it up together during the opening rounds in Scotland. Hall will be making her first LPGA Tour start of 2026 since giving birth to her son earlier this year and will seek to build on her success in Scotland in 2024 when she was tied for 12th. Lee, who gave birth to her first child in 2025, has enjoyed a strong return to competition and already has two top 10s this season on the LPGA Tour. Lee last teed it up at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open in 2024 when she missed the cut. Van Dam made a quick return to competition after giving birth to her daughter in February and is making her third worldwide start of the year in addition to juggling duties as a Vice Captain to Anna Nordqvist at the upcoming Solheim Cup.

Thursday, 8:36 a.m. 1st tee; Friday, 1:36 p.m., 10th tee - Charley Hull, Nelly Korda, Lottie Woad

Hull arrives in Scotland in the midst of an up and down season in which she has three top 10s offset by four missed cuts. She’ll look to build on her strong showing in Scotland in 2024 when she was fifth for the week. After missing her first cut of the year at The Amundi Evian Championship Korda will try to get her season back on track and add a fifth win to her year. Korda was fifth at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open in 2025. Woad wasted no time finding success in the professional ranks by winning in her pro debut in Scotland in 2025 when she cruised to a commanding three-stroke victory for her maiden title. Woad is already a winner this season with her victory in Cincinnati in addition to four more top 10s in 2026.

Thursday, 1:25 p.m., 10th tee; Friday, 8:25 a.m., 1st tee - Ashleigh Buhai, Gemma Dryburgh, Hannah Green

Buhai has shown she has what it takes to tame a links layout with her victory at the AIG Women’s Open at Muirfield in 2022. She’ll be learning on that knowledge this week as she looks to return to the winner’s circle for the first time on the LPGA Tour since 2023. Dryburgh will have the fans on her side in her native Scotland where she’ll be looking to improve upon her tie for 65th last season. Green is returning to the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open for the first time since 2022. This week, Green will try to regain the form that lifted her to four early worldwide wins this season after missing the cut in her last two starts at the Amundi Evian Championship and KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

Thursday, 1:36 p.m., 10th tee; Friday, 8:36 a.m., 1st tee - Anna Nordqvist, Mimi Rhodes, Kiara Romero (a)

Nordqvist is coming off her best finish on the LPGA Tour since 2023 with a tie for seventh in her last start at the Amundi Evian Championship. The three-time major winner will be seeking to build on that momentum in Scotland where she missed the cut last season. Rhodes is a rookie this season on the LPGA Tour and making just her second appearance at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open where she missed the cut in 2025. Thanks to a sponsor invite, Romero will get a chance to secure the one last LEAP point she needs to earn status on the LPGA Tour. Romero comes into the week with 19 of the total 20 points needed to earn membership. A top 40 finish could earn Romero the final LEAP point required to take up membership.
