This week, the LPGA Tour heads to the BMW Ladies Championship for the second stop on the Tour’s fall swing through Asia. For the second consecutive season Pine Beach Golf Links will host 84 players in a 72-hole, no-cut tournament that features a purse of $2.35 mil. As the Tour winds into the closing stretch of the season, players will not only be vying for a trophy but also critical ground in the season-long points races. Here’s a closer look at the groups to watch and what’s on the line for these players as they tee it up this week in the Republic of Korea.

Thursday, 8:00 a.m., 10th tee - Lindy Duncan, Linn Grant, Chizzy Iwai

Duncan returns to Pine Beach Golf Links where she notched a top 10 finish in 2025 with a tie for seventh. Duncan will look to build on that success this week as she remains in the hunt for her first win on the LPGA Tour. She was tied for 37th last week at the Buick LPGA Shanghai. Grant makes her second appearance at Pine Beach Golf Links following a tie for 31st in 2025. Grant is coming off a tie for 37th on Sunday in Shanghai. Iwai is making her first start since the LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei where she picked up her sixth top 10 finish of the season and best performance since the Dow Championship in June. Iwai was tied for 31st at the BMW Ladies Championship in 2025.

Thursday, 10:01 a.m., 1st tee - Youmin Hwang, Erika Hara, Gaby Lopez

The Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year race has come down to two players who, on Thursday, will play together during the opening round - Hwang and Hara. Hwang led the Rookie of the Year race for the better part of the season before being eclipsed by Hara at the Amundi Evian Championship during the summer. Hara currently holds a 144 point advantage over Hwang following her top 10 finish on Sunday at the Buick LPGA Shanghai. Hwang has five top 20 finishes so far this season while Hara has five top 10s. As many as 150 points in the Rolex Rookie of the Year race are up for grabs with a win this week in the Republic of Korea.

Lopez will be grouped with the two rookies for the opening round of the BMW Ladies Championship. Lopez picked up her fourth top 10 finish of the season last week at the Buick LPGA Shanghai. She’ll look to build on that momentum into the closing stretch of the year as she’ll be hoping to pick up her first win of the season. Lopez was tied for 45th at Pine Beach Golf Links in 2025.

Thursday, 10:12 a.m., 1st tee - Hyo Joo Kim, Celine Boutier, Hye Jin Choi

Kim is back in action for the first time since the LOTTE Championship after skipping last week’s Buick LPGA Shanghai. Kim returns to the Republic of Korea where she was tied for 10th last year having already racked up six top 10s this season in addition to two wins on the LPGA Tour. Boutier has also enjoyed success at Pine Beach Golf Links with a tie for third at the BMW Ladies Championship in 2025. The Frenchwoman was tied for 45th on Sunday in Shanghai. Choi held the lead for much of the week in Shanghai thanks to an opening round of 64, but she ultimately finished runner-up for the week. Choi will hope to carry that momentum into the Republic of Korea where she was tied for seventh in 2025.

Thursday, 10:23 a.m., 1st tee - Sei Young Kim, Lottie Woad, Haeran Ryu

Kim returns as defending champion to the site of her thrilling victory in 2025, ending a winless drought of five years on the LPGA Tour. Kim has continued that form throughout 2026 with seven top 10s so far this year. The defending champion was tied for 18th on Sunday at the Buick LPGA Shanghai. Woad is making her second appearance at the BMW Ladies Championship where she was tied for 24th in her tournament debut in 2025. Woad has been a model of consistency with six top 10s and a victory so far in 2026. Ryu makes a long-awaited return to competition and first start since the FM Championship in August when she picked up her 10th top 10 finish of the season. The two-time major winner this season was tied for 45th last season at Pine Beach Golf Links.
