Olafia Kristinsdottir made the Rolex Rankings Move of the Week with her outstanding play at the Indy Women in Tech Championship presented by Guggenheim, jumping 103 spots in the rankings from No. 300 to No. 197 - the highest ranking of her career.

The Iceland native and 2017 LPGA rookie notched the first top-5 finish of her LPGA career with her fourth-place finish last week.

“It’s really exciting,” said Kristinsdottir, who is aiming to finish the season strong and keep her LPGA card in 2018. “I have goals, and this will get me closer to those goals, so that’s really good for me.”

Last week in Indianapolis, Lexi Thompson moved from No. 3 to No. 2 in the world with her win at the Indy Women in Tech Championship. Thompson is the first American with multiple wins in a LPGA season since she and Cristie Kerr both notched two wins in 2015.

With her second win of the season, Thompson joins In-Kyung Kim (three victories), Sung Hyun Park (two victories) and So Yeon Ryu (two victories) as the only multiple winners of the 2017 LPGA season.

With her win at the Indy Women in Tech Championship, Lexi Thompson extends her lead in the season-long Race to the CME Globe over So Yeon Ryu in the No. 2 spot. Sung Hyun Park (3), In Gee Chun (4), Ariya Jutanugarn (5), Stacy Lewis (6), Brooke Henderson (7), In-Kyung Kim (8), Cristie Kerr (9), Moriya Jutanugarn (10), Sei Young Kim (11), and Minjee Lee (12) round out the top-12.

The top five finishers entering Naples control their destiny at the CME Group Tour Championship and with a win in Naples they will also win the $1 million CME Globe. Only the top twelve players in the Race to the CME Globe have a mathematical chance at winning the title and the one million dollar prize at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.
